Assets & Money Laundering

Not least due to the increased popularity of cryptocurrencies, anti-money laundering laws have been significantly tightened in recent years, initiated by the EU and subsequently by the German legislature. This has significant implications for both providers of crypto services and their customers, for example, when trading on crypto exchanges. However, cash lovers and investors in traditional asset classes are also feeling the effects of these stricter regulations in their everyday lives.

Not only have cash transactions and precious metals transactions recently become significantly more difficult, but bank customers are increasingly required to disclose highly personal financial information and justify deposits into their accounts. This is increasingly resulting in bank accounts being blocked and closed.
